Result Table on the Effect of Different Counterweights

Five trials were done for three different counterweights on a falling-arm trebuchet. As evident by the data table, the distance traveled by the projectile (in this case it was a ball) increases as the mass increases. Several trials do not have data recorded because of unreliable launches.

Result Table on the Efficiency

The actual efficiency of the trebuchet was extremely low as seen in the table. There is no correlation between the counterweight mass and its efficiency.
